Little Amps Coffee Roaster

  • 133 State Street, Harrisburg
  • Olde Uptown: 1836 Green Street, Harrisburg
  • Strawberry Square Kiosk, 320 Market Street, Harrisburg

At the cozy, intimate State Street shop, the guy behind the counter quickly concocts delectable, frothy cappucinos and velvety-smooth Chai Spiced Lattes with undertones of nutmeg and cinnamon.  Nitrogen infused cold brewed coffee taps are set up at all three Little Amps locations.  Hot drinks pair well with Short and Sweet Bakery items at the counter such as crumbly, buttery sweet bites of raspberry granola bars ($3).

Folklore Coffee & Company

  • 1 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, 717-361-1658

This former revolving restaurant site is home to a very popular corner coffeehouse. Soft earthy, wooden hues and exposed brick wall surround high top seats against the large picture windows and lower tables for four in the center of the wide open room.  Espresso macchiato ($2.75), homemade Chai Latte ($3.25) Papa Bear ($3.50) ( a cappuccino tweaked with honey and cinnamon) are some of the go-to coffee choices.  Paninis, wraps, overstuffed sandwiches and homemade soups chock full of chunky ingredients attract all ages throughout the day too.
